At Little Havana, we pride ourselves on serving a variety of Cuban-inspired tapas and small plates made from fresh, local produce. Our dishes are infused with the vibrant flavours of Latin America, bringing a true taste of Cuba to your plate.

In the 1970's I opened my first business, an upholstery shop in Northdown Parade. Having been to Cuba, I fell in love with the food, culture and music. It had always been a dream to open my own bar and restaurant and create a little bit of Havana for everyone to enjoy.

Ash is an accomplished Chef with over 20 years of experience in the culinary world. Trained at the prestigious East Kent College, renowned for producing celebrated chefs like Frank Thompson and Gary Rhodes, Ashley honed his craft under some of the industry's finest.
He has spent the last four years as Executive Chef at a local Country Park, catering for weddings, running the restaurant kitchen and a street food truck.
In his first head chef role he spent a decade transforming a modest sandwich shop into a trendy café and a go-to breakfast and lunch destination. Under his leadership, the café earned glowing reviews and drew crowds eager to experience its vibrant menu.
Ash draws inspiration from all cultures, but has a particular love for Caribbean and South American cuisine, which is why he is so excited about the launch of Little Havana.

Tenderised slow-cooked Beef in a rich Red Wine and tomato-spiced sauce with Peppers, Olives, and succulent Raisins, all wrapped in a Puff Pastry parcel and glazed with Sugar Syrup.

Bocas, Cuban tapas. Imagine a delectable fusion of cultures and influences, born out of a rich tapestry of history and built upon the foundational flavors of the Caribbean. In each delicate morsel, one can unlock a treasure trove of culinary wonders, a testament to the vibrant Cuban spirit that has captivated palates for centuries.
A traditional dish of Shredded Beef simmered slowly in a Tomato Sauce with Dry Wine, Onion, Garlic, Bell Peppers, and Spices, served with Fried Potatoes and Coriander.
Juicy, plump Prawns, seared Smoky Sausage, and tender Chicken are dotted through fragrant, Creole-spiced Tomato Rice and Peppers.
Succulent Havana Roast Pork Belly, home made Aji Verde, served with fresh Apple.
Fried Plantains, and Smoky Sofrito Sauce.
Local Catch of the Day marinated in Lime, Avocado, Coriander, and a zesty Beet Salad.
A vibrant Salad made with our Executive Chef's Homemade White Cheese, Orange & Toasted Almonds.
A traditional Latin American dish of Baked Rice, Saffron, Olives, lightly infused with Chilli.
Spiced Sweetcorn Fritters, Soured Cream, and Salsa Lizano.
A meal in itself or added as a side. Black beans marinated with garlic, tomatoes, peppers, bay leaf and spices.( can be topped with crispy pork rind, for that added crunch).
